So far, we have been driving from gas station to gas station. We are averaging 10 miles/gallon, which makes me sick to my stomach. Our grey water is full and we can't even wash dishes tonight, we need to flush it since the pipes still have antifreeze in and the water smells!!! We finally figured out where the water heater button is so tomorrow after we flush the tank we might even enjoy a warm shower. We have been brushing out teeth with antifrezze for 3 days straight.
I took a Vespa trip with Francesca around Attica, Darien and Batavia. Darien Lake is small but cute - nearby is Six Flags. Nothing much else around, just farm land and cows. We got the RV ready for the real trip, flushing the tanks and all the drinking pipes, the LPG tank is also full and ready for some on-the-road cooking. Tonight we are driving to Erie, PA. |
